SYBIL MARGARET FARLEY née GIBSON (better known as Margaret) of Husbands, St. James; An avid member of the Lions Club of St Michael and Life-long member of the St. Mary’s Anglican Church, born 1 August 1947 in Deacons Road, St. Michael to the late Ernesta (nee Brown) and Granville Gibson; retired secretary of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Customs and Excise Department, NIS, Housing Department, Welfare Department and other government departments entered into eternal rest on 26 July 2021.
Beloved Mother of Dr. Zalina Farley (UK), Kesha Farley (Ernst & Young) and Dr. Kalamo Shane Farley (USA);
Cherished Grandmother of Zindzi, Kijani, and Kibwe Farley;
Dearest Sister of Zelma Pixley, Joan Lewis, Barbara, Grantley, Everton, Ferdinand (Shortie) and Beverley Gibson (all of Canada), Gay Gibson, Hal and Michelle Murphy, Gwen Murphy-Lynch, the late Euclid Gibson, Jean Wilson, and Winfield Bell;
Treasured Aunt of June Smith, Linda Bascombe, Diane Wiltshire, Paul, Cheryl, Monique, Kafi-Kemba, Troy, Nadia, Corey, Adrian and Andre Gibson, Debbie Greenidge, Gayle and Andrew Wilson, Christopher Beckles, Halon and Phillip Murphy and many others;

A service of praise and thanksgiving to celebrate the life of SYBIL MARGARET FARLEY née GIBSON will take place on Thursday, 12th August, 2021 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Bridgetown, St. Michael where INVITED relatives and friends are asked to meet and at 10:00 follow by the interment in the Churchyard.

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the St. Mary’s Church Building Fund.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, 11th August, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
