Theresa Leotta Babb née Thorpe affectionately known as “Lottie” or “Ma” aged 93 of Derricks, St. James, formerly of Charles Row Bridge, St. George entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
Daughter of the late George Thorpe and Louise Thorpe née Watson;
Widow of Darnley Babb;
Beloved mother of Cyrilene and Angela Worrell, Maureen Walker, Anthony, Marlene, Anderson and Waveley Thorpe, Kenneth Babb and the late Christopher Worrell;
Grandmother of Christopher (USA), PC1950 Mario Greaves (BDF), Kim, Troy and Andre Worrell, Junior, Julie, Cherryann, Anita, Lisa, Lennox, Jade, Stephanie; Joyann, Renee, Melissa and Jason Thorpe and many others;
Great grandmother of 66;
Great great-grandmother of one;
Sister of the late Mertie, Eileen, Muriel, George, Una and three others;
Aunt of William, Robert and Lisa (all of the USA), Maizie Robinson, Veldine Murrell, Carl Thorpe, Roslyn and many others;
Great aunt of many;
Mother-in-Law of Garfield Walker and Andy Lynch;
Relative of the Thorpe, Alleyne and Price families of St. George;
Friend of many.
The funeral of the late Theresa Leotta Babb née Thorpe leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 for St. George Parish Church, The Glebe, St. George where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3 p.m. for the service followed by the interment in the Churchyard.
The Organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 no later than 1 p.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
