Wayne St. Clair Carrington affectionately known as “Wayney” aged 68 of Massiah Gardens, Kendal Hill, Christ Church and formerly of Fairways Gardens No.1, Christ Church and Deighton Road, St. Michael; retired Linesman of the Barbados Light & Power (BL&P). 

Son of the late Neville and Sylvia Carrington

Devoted father of Robert and Sade Carrington

Twin Brother of the late Mark Carrington

Brother of June Parris, Gwendolyn Hollingsworth, Canon Austin Carrington, Jennifer Knight and Paul Carrington.

Uncle of Andre, Alex, Matthew, Ayanna and Kemar Carrington, Kevin Worrell, Patrick and Glen Knight Jnr, Nicole and Roxanne Hollingsworth, Owen Alik Shahadah, Dr. Joanne Parris, April and Janaya Dear

Nephew of Gloria Poulier, Agnes Burke, Jocelyn King, Deborah and Ron Grant

The funeral of the late Wayne St. Clair Carrington leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, March 22, 2024 for St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Bay Street, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1 p.m. for the service, followed by the interment at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church. Pre-service tributes commence at 12.30pm.

The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 11 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4 – 6 p.m.

    I didn’t know your brother but I can feel the loss since I myself recently experienced the loss of one of my brothers.

    Uncle Mark this Cindy I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind to me and my brother David when we were growing up.you always had a smile and a kind word. Thanks for the rides home from st. Paul’s when you pick up Robert these where small things but they ment a lot too us.Rest in power and rise in Glory with your heavenly father.

    Condolences to the family, especially Father Austin Carrington. Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences that breaks the physical family bond and lasting friendships, and brings with it a myriad of emotions. May Wayne’s Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.
