The memory of auntie Yves smile and laughter is permanently etched in my memories. She was always kind and loving to me in my formative years. And has so always held a special place in my heart. The news of her passing is overwhelming as I feel especially caught in memories which seem so close and near the me but are a distant memory with respect to the actual time and space that has elapsed since we last had a physical exchange. In this life I think we all take for granted.. the hope or promise of Tomorrow, calls we should make to friends and loved ones. We should connect . The ones we love that we should make an unwavering priority to take care of our own. Love each other. Forgive. I am especially guilty of being soo caught up in a work schedule or the goings on of my daily routine. I have taken for granted everyone around me is okay…. That I may have heard frok my mom or sister … or heard from a cousin, an aunt, friend, or a neighbor that they are doing well without taking an extra moment to make contact myself. We are all we have. AIf I do not find time to take care of you my blood. My love who will. I have learned in this world. In this lifetime we can not stake claim to a house, or a car or any other worldly possessions. w
We have the love of our family HARD. Auntie Yvette I am sorry this has happened . I wanted you so much for you to meet my sweetest daughter Oshun Raine. I take comfort in knowing you are with God. And not with the pain or despair this world can often bring. I LOVE YOU AUNTIE I AM SORRY.I GOT TO BUSY MAKING A LIFE AND FORGOT TO LIVE And ENJOY the Fulfillment of this life with you. I WILL always hold you dear and near to my heart. I promise you to stay close to everyone for we are all we have. Until we meet again. All my love Krys… lil steven.
