MERLENE JAMELE KELLMAN-LAYNE late of Lammings Park, St. Joseph retired employee of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, entered peaceful into rest on Wednesday, 7^th June, 2023 at her residence.

Daughter of the late Stella Virginia Kellman and Horace Bovell;

Wife of Lindsay Layne;

Mother of Gail, Allison and Heather Kellman;

Grandmother of Akeem and Kyle Kellman, Anderson Evelyn and the late Arianna Kellman;

Great grandother of Jai’Ari Jackman and Amir Kellman

Sister of Holborn, Mildred, Edwin and Ophneal Kellman, Haldeen and Gregory Bovell, the late David and Coleen Bovell and many others;

Aunt of Bentley, Junior, Harriette, the late Angela and Pearson Kellman, Denis, Angela and Anderson Wilkinson and many others;

Cousin of Jamel, Melvin and Philip Clarke, Lolita, Cleo, Stephen, Euretha Marshall and many others;

Special friends of Hazel Mayers and Joyce Clarke;

Relative of the Kellman and Leacock families.

The funeral of the late Merlene Jamele Kellman-Layne leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, 21^st June, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. for St. Anne’s Anglican Church, Parris Hill, St. Joseph where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:30 p.m. for the service. The funeral will then proceed to the St. Joseph Cemetery for the interment.

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 21^st June, 2023.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Sugar Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church, Braggs Hill, St. Joseph on Tuesday, 20^th June, 2023 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
